Odion Ighalo is delighted after he was appointed by the Nigerian Government as the new ambassador of the newly-reformed National Principal Cup.
The 32-year-old Al-Shabab becomes the second former Super Eagles player after Chelsea legend John Mikel Obi was on Friday named as Youth Ambassador by Minister of Youth and Sports Development Sunday Dare.
Minister of Youth and Sports Development announced this on Tuesday when Ighalo paid him a courtesy visit at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Golden Boot winner took his Instagram handle to said he is an honour to be the Face ( Ambassador) of the National Principals Cup.
