Another Africa nation Algeria set to snatch Reading FC star highly-rated midfielder Michael Olise from Super Eagles, according to media reports.
The 19-year-old Nigerian descent was named on the Super Eagles standby list for their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho back in March.
However, Nigeria now face serious competition for Olise from Algeria, where his mother hails from as the football federation FAF plan to fly out to England this month to meet with the Reading Young Player of the Year.
According to fennecfootball.com, they plan to explain the objectives of the reigning African champions and why he should choose them ahead of the Super Eagles.
Olise was named in EFL Team of the Season after he netted scoring seven goals and registering 12 assists in 44 league matches.
