Former Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has quit his new role as Fiorentina manager, just a few weeks into his appointment.

Gattuso’s resignation is due to differences in agreement with regards to transfer policy, as Gattuso wanted La Viola to bring in Porto midfielder Sergio Oliveira and Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes, but they were deemed too costly.

Gattuso has left the Serie A club and he is open to offers from other clubs that suits his requirements.
