England national team manager Gareth Southgate has sent Dean Henderson home from the Euro 2020 squad following a hip injury.
The Manchester United goalkeeper was replaced with Aaron Ramsdale with immediate effect, with the new UEFA rule permitting such changes.
Sheffield United shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale was called up by England following Henderson’s hip injury. Henderson was on the bench in the 1-0 win over World Cup finalist Croatia in their opening match.
England will be up against Scotland on Friday for their second match in the ongoing tournament.
