Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants five Manchester City players for the exchange of two players from the Catalan based club.
The president and the club sporting director Mateu Alemany met with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in a high-level meeting where the summer transfer business was discussed.
The report in Esport3 claimed that Manchester City expressed interest in signing Dembele and Roberto this summer, with an exchange of players mentioned.
Laporta is nursing the ambition of exchange of multiple Manchester City players in the deal that would see Dembele and Roberto leave for the Etihad Stadium.
Laporta suggested Raheem Sterling, Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo all be made available by City as part of a sensational exchange.
Barcelona has already secured the deal to sign Sergio Aguero from Manchester City on a free transfer but they are not showing signs of relaxing from making more signings.
