Arsenal is prepared to hijack Real Madrid’s bid for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, according to a report.
Real Madrid has been monitoring the development of the youngster but it seems Arsenal is set to jump the queue to sign the midfielder.
Camavinga’s performances have attracted top clubs in Europe with the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid interested in his services.
The report in Le 10 Sport claim that Arsenal is also keen on his services, with the London club making the 18-year-old star their top priority when the transfer window opens.
Arsenal chief is Camavinga now counts on Jonathan Barnett as his prime agent, with it suggested the youngster wants to move to England this summer.
He has a contract to 2022 with Rennes.
