Super Eagles rise four places in the latest FIFA Ranking after 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers last international break.

Gernot Rohr’s men were involved in two international matches during the period under review, both of which they won against the Republic of Benin and Lesotho.

Super Eagles beat Benin Republic 1-0 in Porto Novo before thrashing Lesotho 3-0 at the Teslim Balogun.

The ranking was published on FIFA’s official website and social media handle.

On the back of those victories, Nigeria have moved up from 36th to 32nd in the world rankings, while they are third in the African region.
Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco are the top five teams in Africa in that order, while the top ten teams in the world consists of Belgium, France, Brazil, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay and Denmark.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on May 27, 2021.
