Chelsea have announced the appointment of former PSG boss Thomas Tuchel as Frank Lampard replacement on an 18-month contract.
The 42-year-old club legend was dismissed as the head coach at Stamford Bridge on Monday afternoon Chelsea suffered a dramatic dip in form in recent weeks, winning just two of their last eight Premier League games to slip down to the ninth place and 11 points adrift of leaders Manchester United.
Chelsea made the confirmation of Tuchel via the club official website and social media handle.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz coach arrived Stamford Bridge after leaving Paris Saint-Germain last month.
Tuchel sign an 18-month contract with Chelsea, with the option for a further year.
