Manchester City made it nine consecutive victories in a row against Aston Villa in the Premier League thanks to second-half goals from Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan.

The first half was goalless as both teams look to create the killer pass to penetrate each other’s defence for the entire 45 minutes.

It was the second half that brought spark into the game with Silva’s strike and Gundogan’s penalty in the last minute of the match to make it 2-0 for the home team.

The victory made it nine consecutive wins for Pep Guardiola’s team, the Etihad outfit is now two points behind the Premier League leaders Manchester United.
