The Real Madrid directors are of the view that Son could become the next Cristiano Ronaldo due to his eye for goal and the threat he offers from the left-wing- from the attacker.

Son has scored 12 goals from 16 Premier League matches this season, the Korean international is not the only player on the radar of the La Liga, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are also on the list of the Bernabeu chief.

Real Madrid is keen on offloading either Luka Jovic or Mariano Diaz this winter in a bid to create space for the incoming target.
