Former Nigeria U23 forward Fanendo Adi has won Major League Soccer Cup again after Columbus Crew defeated Seattle Sounders 3-0 in the final.
The 30-year-old Lagos-born moves to MAPFRE Stadium on 27 January from FC Cincinnati after a year spell.
Adi was an unused substitute in Saturday’s final with goals from Derrick Etienne Jr and brace Lucas Zelarayan.
This season, he made 12 appearances mainly as a substitute.

Adi was also called up to the senior Nigeria squad to face Egypt in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in March 2016 but did not play.
His previous clubs include Cincinnati (MLS), FC Copenhagen(Denmark), Trencin (Slovakia) and Tavriya, Dynamo Kiev, Metalurh Donetsk (Ukraine).
