Barcelona has shown interest in signing the Lyon attacker with manager Ronald Koeman giving the club thumbs up for the signature of the attacker.

Koeman worked with the attacker during his day as the Netherlands manager and believes that Depay is a good addition for the club in the attacking department.

Depay was on the verge of signing for Barcelona last summer but the club’s wage bill was on the rise and the move to sign the Dutch attacker collapsed.

Ligue 1 Champions PSG, has now joined the race to snap up the attacker, according to the report in Mundo Deportivo.

Depay’s contract with Lyon will expire this summer, on a free transfer so the ball is very much in his court.

The former PSV attacker will have to decide where he will ply his trade next season.
