Shehu Abdullahi has reacted after helping Omonia Nicosia to first win in Europa League with a 2-1 win over PAOK on Thursday night.

The 27-year-old Nigeria international returned Cypriot side after two half years spell at Turkish outfit Bursaspor.

Abdullahi was introduced in the 21st minutes to replaced Andronikos Kakoullis who scored the first goal for Omonia Nicosia in the nine minutes of the game.

Christos Tzolis got an equlaiser for PAOK in the 39 minutes of the encounter at Neo GSP Stadium after he fired with his right foot from the centre of the box to the right corner.

Former Wigan star Jordi Gomez netted the winner from Omonia Nicosia after scoring the penalty spot.

Super Eagles star Abdullahi took his social media handle to celebrate after the victory in the Europa League encounter on Thursday night.

The win see Omonia Nicosia remian the bottom of the table with four point going the last fixture of the Group E aginst PSV next week.
