Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde is ruled out for a month due to an injury on his right leg as per Marca.

The box to box midfielder will be out of action till the first week of December following the test carried out on Monday morning.

Valverde suffered a fissure in the posterior tibial spine of his right leg in Sunday’s 4-1 defeat at Valencia.

The injury to the Uruguayan midfielder is a major blow for Los Blancos coupled with the point that Karim Benzema is also doubtful for the Los Blancos, the French star suffered an injury during the Valencia clash as well.

The 22-year-old has grown into a prominent role whereby he has been preferred in starting line-ups ahead of Luka Modric and even Toni Kroos, who replaced him at the Mestalla this weekend.

Real Madrid will miss the services of the midfielder against Villarreal, Alavés and Sevilla, while also sitting out the Champions League fixtures against Inter, Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The midfielder will be hoping to make a return against Atletico Madrid in mid-December in the La Liga.
