Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr on Friday paid a visit to the camp of the Nigeria U-20 team currently preparing for the WAFU B Zonal qualifiers in Lome, Togo
Rohr’s morale-boosting visit is coming barely 24 hours after Ladan Bosso’s side thrashed Horvel Prime Academy 4-0 in a friendly game in Abuja on Thursday.
The friendly is part of preparations for the Flying Eagles ahead of the now postponed WAFU B Zonal qualifiers in Lome, Togo.
It was the team’s third friendly game after also recording impressive wins in their previous two games.
The Nigeria Football Federation via their official Twitter handle described the visit by the Franco-German as an encouraging one.
“Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr today visited the Flying Eagles during the evening training session. Rohr gave the team moral support and encouraged them to do the nation proud by qualifying for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations” The NFF wrote.
