Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reached another landmark for Los Blancos with his goal against Inter Milan in the Champions League at the Alfredo di Stefano on Tuesday evening.

Ramos has now scored 100 goals in Real Madrid colours in all competitions, he joins an exclusive club of 19 players who have done so with the Real Madrid.

He joins the list of 19 players to reach century goals for Los Blancos 15 are forwards, two are midfielders and then there’s Fernando Hierro and Ramos. However, Hierro played a lot of his Real Madrid career in midfield and that partly explains his tally.

Ramos is the pure defender to reach this tally, doing so 15 years after arriving at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The defender scored his first goal came on December 6, 2005, against Olympiacos when he headed in a Raul Bravo freekick on a Champions League night.

With the goal against Inter Milan, the former Sevilla defender has now scored in the last 13 seasons in the Champions League.
