Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is yet to score a goal in the El-Clasico since the exit of Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

Messi goal drought continues as Real Madrid defence kept him silent in another thrilling El-Clasico.

The Argentine attacker has now played seven El-Clasico without a goal against his eternal rivals Real Madrid, Los Blancos defeated Barcelona 3-1 at the Camp Nou with the only goal scored by Ansu Fati at the Camp Nou.

The last time Messi found the net against Los Blancos was during the 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou on Matchday 36 of the 2017/18 LaLiga Santander season.

Messi has just scored a goal this season in the seven games played – during Barcelona’s opening game against Villarreal. The Argentine forward has experienced another slow start to the season similar to the 2014 season.
