Former Lokomotiv Moscow star, Peter Odemwingie is confident Victor Moses will be a big hit at Spartak Moscow this season.
Odemwingie told Sports Express on Monday, he is delighted with Moses’ choice of Spartak and tipped the Nigerian to hit the ground running at the club.
Odemwingie who revealed that the former Chelsea and Inter right full-back sought his opinion before joining Spartak warned defenders to brace up for a hard time with Moses.
” I don’t consider Moses to be a defensive player when it comes to four defenders. This is not his position at all.
“I hope Spartak carefully determines the roles for newcomers before transfers. So I look forward to seeing what tasks Viktor will perform at Spartak.
” In general, he is an all-rounder, he can play both on the right in midfield and on the left. Such a player will strengthen any club if he is in shape.
Osaze then described Moses’ purchase as good business for Spartak given what the pacy winger will bring to the team.
” I think this is an excellent acquisition for Spartak. He plays well with the ball, so there shouldn’t be any problems. Good at playing, there is speed.
“If Musa could play in the RPL, although he was more attack-oriented, then I think Moses can also make defenders of other clubs sweat,” he told sports express.
