Captain of the Super Falcons and Barcelona goal-machine, Asisat Oshoala has lent her voice to the ongoing nationwide protest against police brutality.
Massive protests have been going on across the length and breadth of the country as many are calling for the outright scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a unit in the Nigeria Police Force.
Oshoala no longer finds it funny; a situation where young people; including football players who enjoy wearing dreadlocks, dying their hair in different colours and the likes are been wrongly profiled and harassed by SARS officials.
She wrote: Some of us have good paying jobs and still like our HAIR like this…..DREADLOCK no be crime , to apply DYE for HAIR no be crime.
And THANKS to everyone that wished me happy birthday yesterday….LOVE ALWAYS 🙏🏾#EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality
