The Nigeria national team has been rocked with a fresh injury blow ahead of the upcoming high-profile international friendly games against Tunisia and Algeria.
After initially losing Wilfred Ndidi to injury, Gernot Rohr’s side will now have to do without another key player in the middle of the pack, Ogehenekaro Etebo.
The Nigeria Football Federation announced on its Twitter handle on Monday that Etebo at the weekend cupped an injury while in action for his Turkish club Galatasaray and that has effectively ruled him out from the twin clash against the Desert Foxes and the Carthage Eagles.

The Super Eagles have lined up two friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia on October 9 and 13 respectively as part of their preparation for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone in November.
As many as seven players are in line for a debut appearance with the Super Eagles in this double friendly.
