Chelsea put up a brilliant performance in the second half to defeat Crystal Palace 4-0 despite playing goalless in the first 45 minutes.
Newly signed defender Ben Chilwell broke the deadlock in the 50th minute and the former Leicester City defender assisted Kourt Zouma in the 66th minute to give Chelsea a 2-0 lead.
Then two quick goals from Jorginho from the penalty spot made it 4-0 for the Blues as Frank Lampard’s men ran rout in 45 minutes to defeat Crystal Palace 4-0 at the Stamford Bridge.
With the victory, Edouard Mendy was able to keep a clean sheet in his Premier League debut and also Chilwell made a fantastic League debut with the Blues after scoring a goal and also assisted Zouma for the second goal.
