Nigerian international, Olarenwaju Kayode has spoken for the first time since his loan switch to Sivasspor.
The former Manchester City forward played last season on loan at Gaziantep where he scored 10 goals in 27 games in the league.
Olarenwaju wrote on his instagram page: “I want to use this medium to thank my Gaziantep family, my Coach and crews, fans and well-wishers for your love, support and encouragement and can never take for granted!!! This is my new home now Sivasspor and I’m wishing my club and teammates all the best in this season and let’s make some magic together.”
Olarenwaju joined Shakhtar Donetsk on an initial loan from Manchester City in March 2018 but the deal was made permanent at the end of that season after he scored two goals in six league appearances.
But he has failed to convince at the Ukrainian side and has constantly been sent on loan. According to report, the current loan deal with the red-whites covers the whole of the 2020-2021 season with no option to buy.
