Super Eagles star Abdullahi Shehu returns to Cyprus First Divison League for a second spell after leaving Turkish club Bursaspor
The Nigeria international sign a two-year for Omonia Nicosia following the expiry of his contract after the club announced the signing on their official website.
Shehu is returning to Cyprus for a second spell in the division, having worn the colours of Anorthosis Famagusta for two seasons, from 2016-2018.
Super Eagles defender will be looking to help Omonia Nicosia to qualify for the Champions League group stage this season.
The Kano-born right-back joins Ghana striker Ernest Asante and Senegal’s Mamadou Sene in Henning Berg’s team for the 2020-21 season.
Omonia currently sit seventh in the Cypriot top-flight table having won just one of their last three matches, with five points after three games.
