New signing Thiago Alcantara’s first word after joining Liverpool from Bayern Munich for 30 million euros.

The former Barcelona star signed a long-term contract with the Anfield outfit, though the length of the deal is not yet revealed.

“When the years are passing, you are trying to win as much as you can – and when you win, you want to win more,” Thiago told Liverpool’s official media.

“I think this club describes what I am as well; I want to achieve all of the goals, win as many trophies as possible.

“It also [has] this kind of family [feeling] that I need because we [like to] have a very close relationship with the club and I think I will feel this, I will have this feeling, with this club as well.”

The 29-year-old Spanish spent seven years in Germany with Bayern, having joined from Barcelona in 2013, he scored 31 goals and 37 assists in 235 games for the Bavarians while he won seven Bundesliga titles, four DFB-Pokals, three DFL-Supercups, one Club World Cup and one Champions League.
