Victor Moses and his Inter Milan teammates have been told by Diego Godin that the only way to write history against Sevilla in the Europa League final on Friday is to play with bravery.
Godin won the competition twice during his time with La Liga side Atletico Madrid and going up against a familiar team makes it even more interesting for the Uruguayan defender.
“I don’t recommend anything, I work and I try to do everything I can,” Godin said at a press conference. “We all want the same thing: to win.
“To do this, we must follow the preparation and play with the heart. The Finals are played like this, even with the heart. Whoever win, writes history, we must take to the pitch to do that.”
Inter Milan finished second in Serie A and gain automatic qualification to the UEFA Champions League but a win against Sevilla in the Europa League final also gives them a CL ticket.
