Paris Saint-Germain is considering a move for Nigerian attacker Odion Ighalo as a replacement for Edinson Cavani who his expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

Ighalo joined Manchester United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua in January and has been in good form for the Old Trafford team, scoring five goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.

The former Granada attacker will remain at Manchester United till January, he is expected to make a return to his parent club in January.

However, according to Fussballtransfers, PSG is lining up a move for the attacker as they look to bring in a replacement for their all-time leading goalscorer Cavani.

Ighalo has a year left in his current deal with the Chinese Super League outfit, although the Chinese outfit is said to be hopeful of agreeing on fresh terms.

The Nigerian has scored twice in four Europa League games but he is still yet to his first Premier League goal for Manchester United.
