Real Madrid is set to announce more departure this summer after the club announced the exit of Alphonse Areola at the end of the season.
The La Liga Champions has confirmed Areola will return to Paris Saint-Germain after spending the 2019/20 season on loan at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Areola was a backup for Thibaut Courtois in the last season, he played a total of nine games for Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid confirm that Alphonse Areola’s loan spell has come to an end,” Real Madrid’s statement read.
“The club would like to thank Areola for his dedication, professionalism and exemplary conduct this season and wishes him the best of luck in this new chapter.
“Real Madrid also thank PSG for the chance to have had Alphonse Areola as part of our squad.”
Real Madrid might call back on loan goalkeeper Andriy Lunin from Real Oviedo for the upcoming season.
