Super Eagles hopeful Bright Osayi-Samuel has turned down a move to Belgium side Club Brugge from England team QPR.
The 22-year-old Nigerian winger has proven to be his breakout season, the London born providing five goals and eight assists for QPR this season from his 36 appearances.
According to West London Sport, Osayi-Samuel has opted out of a transfer to Belgium despite Club Brugge had a £4.75m bid accepted by the English club.
Osayi-Samuel had flew into Belgium to inspect the team’s facilities but the Nigerian descent rejects the move in hoping he would lead to Premier League clubs coming in for him.
He was widely regarded as a direct replacement for fellow Nigeria star Emmanuel Dennis, who is expected to soon make a big-money move out of Belgium.
Crystal Palace and Burnley are two sides that have been mentioned alongside Osayi-Samuel but to date, no other club has made an official approach.
