Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis could well be playing his football next season in the Italian Serie A after both Inter Milan and Atalanta were reported to be battling for his signature, ScoreNigeria reports.
Italian football transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio reported that Atalanta are now taking a second look at Dennis, who scored six goals in 23 appearances as Club Brugge were crowned champions of Belgium.
Inter have also been linked with the winger, just as several clubs in both the Premier League and Bundesliga.
It must also be noted that that his agent, William D’Avilla, was the one who finalised Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Napoli.
However, the Italian clubs will have to be prepared to table a fat cheque as Club Brugge hope to cash in big time on the player’s transfer after a valuation of around 25 million.
In the meantime, the former Abuja Football College star is expected to feature in today’s Belgium Cup Final against Antwerp.
This was after media reports in Belgium had suggested he was suffering from ‘transferitis’ as he was yet to move as widely expected.
