Liverpool showed dominance in the 5-3 win over Chelsea in the Premier League at Anfield on Wednesday evening as the Reds put the Blues Champions League hope in the balance.

Liverpool was top of their game against Chelsea as the Reds show no sign of slowing down with Naby Keita long-range effort to score the opener in the 23rd minute of the encounter.

Trent Alexander-Arnold converted from a free-kick to give Liverpool the second goal as he curled the ball past Chelsea wall to beat helpless Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 38th minute of the clash.

Gini Wijnaldum scored from a close range after it appeared that Jorginho fouled in the box, but the rebound came to the path of the Dutch star whop tap the ball to the roof of the post in the 43rd minute.

Chelsea pulled one back via Olivier Giroud who was at the right place at the right time to pounce n a rebound inside the box to give Chelsea a goal in the additional time of the first half.

Firmino got his name on the scoresheet with a beautiful header in the 55th minutes, the Brazilian attacker rose above all the Chelsea defenders to head in the cross from Arnold.

Christain Pulisic teamed up Tammy Abraham to give Chelsea the second goal to make it 4-3 in the 61st minute of the clash.

Pulisic got the third goal for Chelsea following a well-controlled pass from Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 77th minute of the clash.

Oxlade-Chamberlain made it 5-3 for Liverpool after the attacker was set up by Andrew Robertson.

Chelsea’s hope finishing in the top-four continue to look uncertain with this result not in their favour against Liverpool.
