La Liga giant Sevilla has been linked with a move for Super Eagles star Chidozie Awaziem after a loan stint with relegated Leganes.
The 23-year-old Nigeria international spent a season-long loan at Estadio Municipal de Butarque from FC Porto where he played 26 games for Leganes and was a key fixture in Javier Aguirre’s defence.
According to Spanish newspaper AS claim that Sevilla has shown strong interest in bringing Awaziem to Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium this summer.
Former Spain and Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui keen to extend Super Eagles ace in Spain beyond just this season as they have made a move to sign a new centre back.
Awaziem is expected to make a return back to his parent club FC Porto for the preparation of next season but in Portuguese team could allow him to leave for the right price.
