Zinedine Zidane expects nothing less than a win as Real Madrid face Samuel Chukwueze’s Villarreal at the Bernabeu on Thursday.

The Los Blancos need just two points from the two remaining matches this season to win the league while Barcelona are hoping they slip up in one of the tightest La Liga title race in recent times.

Ahead of the match on Thursday, Zidane said: “It’s not about what I prefer or not,” he said when asked in his press conference about drawing the next two fixtures.

“We want to win Thursday’s match, that’s all. We’re going to go for it, like we always do and like Villarreal will do too. I don’t feel like a champion yet. Nobody knows what could happen.”

Real Madrid have 83 points after 36 matches while Barcelona are four points adrift in second.
