Nigeria international goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has officially penned on a two-year deal with Dutch professional club side Sparta Rotterdam.
It is understood that Okoye also has an option of another two years extension inserted in the contract signed on Monday. Confirming the transfer on their official Twitter account, the Dutch side wrote: “SPARTA ROTTERDAM HAS STRENGTHENED ITSELF, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE MEDICAL EXAMINATION, WITH MADUKA OKOYE. THE NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL SIGNS FOR TWO SEASONS WITH AN OPTION FOR TWO MORE SEASONS.”

The deal is subjected to medical that is expected to take place anytime from now.
However, the young goalie added 14 appearances, conceding 26 goals and keeping two clean sheets in the 2019/20 Regionalliga West Season for Düsseldorf.
Okoye made his debut for the homeland ”Super Eagles” in an international friendly match against Brazil in Singapore last year.
