Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has warned his players ahead of the clash against Real Madrid in the second leg of the round 16.
Guardiola warned Manchester City players not to look too far ahead of their possible passage to the final which was mapped out in the draws made on Friday.
Manchester City is aware of their possible opponent if they could eliminate Real Madrid having gotten advantage of 2-1 win in the first leg at Santiago Bernabeu before football was off the menu.
Manchester City has to finish the job against Real Madrid in the second leg of their round of 16 on August 7 or 8, to reach the tournament for the last eight next month.
When asked about the draw, Guardiola said: “We have to play against Madrid. If we think about the next step, the kings of this competition will put us out.”
