Achraf Hakimi has completed his £40 million moves from La Liga giants Real Madrid to Inter Milan.
The 21-year-old Morocco international has earned rave reviews during his two-year loan spell at Borussia Dortmund after scoring12 goals and provided 17 assists in 72 appearances, leading to a host of clubs vying to sign him.
Despite Real Madrid highly valuing the player but his preferred position of right-back is already occupied by Spain international Dani Carvajal with Alvaro Odriozola and Nacho Fernandez also in that position.
A Real Madrid statement read: “The club wants to thank Achraf for all these years of dedication, professionalism and exemplary behaviour since he came to our academy in 2006 and wishes him good luck in his new phase.”
Hakimi is an actual Real Madrid youth product who made his first-team debut underneath Zinedine Zidane in October three years ago where he featured 17 times for Los Blancos in the 2017-18 campaign won the Champions League and Club World Cup.
Although being born in the Spanish capital, Hakimi is a full Morocco international with already 28 caps under his belt, including all three group matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
