The Spaniard was blamed for giving away a cheap goal against Tottenham Hotspur but he wasn’t troubled by the Blades at Old Trafford. 6/10

Harry Maguire

Maguire did not cover himself in glory as be was also blamed for his part in Spurs goal last time but looked assured against Sheffield United and carried the ball well from the ball into midfield which helped the team. 7/10

Victor Lindelof

The Swede had a decent game and was tidy throughout the match and his partnership with Maguire looked solid as they dealt with every ball from the opponent. 6.5/10

Luke Shaw

Shaw enjoyed a good game and joined the attack with ease. He picked up a yellow for his troubles but generally had a good game. 6.5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

AWB was solid as usual at right back and created one of the goals for Anthony Martial in a flawless performance. 8/10

Nemanja Matic

Matic shielded the defensive very well and gave the creative midfielder room to operate. It was a disciplined display from the holding midfielder. 7.5/10

Paul Pogba

Pogba showed his class and why he is highly rated with his distribution and presence in midfield. 8.5/10

Bruno Fernandes

Bruno was he usual self with creative license and contributed to the move that led to Martial’s hat-trick. 8/10

Mason Greenwood

Greenwood showed confidence throughout the match and enjoyed 79 minutes of action but it wasn’t his best performance in a Manchester United shirt. 6.5/10.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford missed two clear opportunities to score in the first half but assisted one of Martial’s goal with a sublime pass. 7/10.

Anthony Martial

Martial went home with the match-ball as he scored his first ever senior hat-trick in a confidence performance and went home with the man of the Match award. 9/10.
