Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane wants to help Luka Jovic rediscover his scoring form according to source in Spain.
Though Real Madrid is in line in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland but their interest in the Norwegian attacker has been cool off with Zidane ready to help Jovic reach his optimum level.
Real Madrid signed Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer in a £62million transfer deal after a tremendous season performance with the German outfit where he scored 27 goals in 48 matches at Frankfurt last season.
Jovic has been a shadow of himself since he joined Real Madrid, he has struggled to adapt to life at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 22-year-old has registered two goals and two assists this season for Real Madrid.
Zidane is prepared to help the Serbian attacker, he may be given an opportunity over the coming months.
Jovic is currently injured, he has been diagnosed with an extra-articular fracture in the calcaneus bone of the right foot and will likely be sidelined for three months.
