Barcelona could welcome a swap deal that would involve Philippe Coutinho moving to Chelsea and N’Golo Kante moving in the opposite direction.
Coutinho has been constantly linked with a move back to Premier League with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard keen on signing the Brazilian attacking midfielder.
Barcelona is willing to sell the former Liverpool ace before the start of the new season.
The report in Mundo Deportivo says that Coutinho wants a move to Chelsea and as a result, Barcelona could move for The Blues own midfielder N’Golo Kante, who Chelsea have reportedly named their fee for, according to L’Equipe (cited by Football Italia).
Barcelona want to add some depth to their midfield with the Catalan based club prepared to ship out of midfielders at the end of the current campaign.
The La Liga Champions are reportedly looking for a workhorse to add to their midfield and Kante is being assessed as a potential option, with hints of some kind of swap deal being on the cards.
Real Madrid is also one of those clubs interested in the services of the World Cup winner but the Los Blancos are well stocked in the midfield and could allow Barcelona a free ride to sign the former Leicester City defensive midfielder.
