Nigeria Professional Football League club Enyimba have revealed after Nigeria international Dayo Ojo and Abia Warrior star Benjamin Diomande Kidnapped by men of the underworld along the Benin-Owo expressway.
The 25-year-old midfielder plus Emmanuel James and Abia Warrior Benjamin Diomande was traveling from Aba to Akure following the suspension of the Nigerian elite division to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
While James escaped the attack, the duo of Ojo and Iluyomade who play for Abia Warriors were taken away.
While tears are still welling in the eyes of Rangers International players, who are mourning the death of striker Ifeanyi George, who died in a road accident on his way to Lagos from Enugu and this new incident has thrown the football community into a state of fear, agony, and panic as players now fear to move on the roads or streets.

Ojo has featured for Golden Eaglet, Flying Eagles and Super Eagles and he was part of CHAN Eagles who finished as runners-up at the 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco
