Manchester United is prepared to sanction a move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen at Old Trafford as the Red Devils directors are set to seal a deal for the Lille attacker at the end of the season.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is willing to add new players to the attacking department of the team and has identified Nigerian Osimhem as the ideal star to join the likes Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Odion Ighalo at the final third.

Osimhen joined Lile from Charleroi last season for a fee in the region of €12m less and Lille is prepared to sell him for seven times his initial cost with just less than a season with the Ligue 1 outfit.

The likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are also in the race to secure his signature and they have also met with Lille at some point.
