Nigeria ace Noah Salau is prepared to dump Germany national team call up for the Super Eagles, the Germany-born defender wants to play for the Nigerian national team.
Salau has model his playing style to that of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, he is energetic and has pace to stop oncoming attackers.
Salau plays for Wuppertaler SV and no doubt he would be a good asset to Nigeria football, he would add quality and depth to the defense of the Super Eagles.
The 23-year-old was born in Haan, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany to a Nigerian father and German mom, and turned out for the youth teams of Fortuna Düsseldorf and Wuppertaler SV, then played for Turu Düsseldorf and FC Monheim, before returning to Wuppertaler SV in 2019.
Salau is close pals with German-born goalkeeper Maduka Okoye who has pledged his international allegiance to Nigeria and has been named in the latest Super Eagles squad ahead of Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Salau’s father is from Kwara state and the 23-year-old defender is keen on playing for Nigeria.
