Chelsea set to battle Juventus & PSG for Algerian descent Houssem Aouar in the summer as Frank Lampard set to revamp his squad Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The 21-year-old midfielder broke into the first-team ranks of Lyon and has since gone on to establish himself as one of the most highly-regarded young talents in French football.
Lampard’s side have already completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and could now move for Aouar as the Blues are on the hunt for reinforcements after 3-0 demolishing from the hands of Bundesliga holders in the first leg of the Champions League last Tuesday and are expected to be busy in the upcoming transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are said to be interested in the Algerian descent ahead of next season as they plan £42m bid but it appears as though they are not the only big club keeping tabs on the talented youngster with Juventus has shown a strong interest for the France U21.
The report adds that Chelsea want to force through a deal as soon as possible, in a similar way that they secured Ziyech so early.
Aouar was part of Lyon squad that stunned Serie A league leaders in the first leg of Champions League at Groupama Stadium but the youngster has continued to impress this season with nine goals and seven assists in 34 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.
