Nigeria Professional Football League top striker Alimi Sikiru dumped Lobi Stars for a big move-money to Tunisian Ligue 1 club Stade Tunisien on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 23-year-old CHAN Eagles forward was not part of the Lobi stars team that defeated MFM 1-0 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 14 in Makurdi at the weekend.Sikiru was part of the Nigerian team that failed to qualify for the African Nations Championship despite scoring two goals against the Hawks of Togo.
The Lagos-born star has been prolific in front of goals since joining Lobi Stars where he scored five CAF Champions League goals last season and has also scored four league goals in the NPFL 2019-2020 season before his move to Tunisia.
Sikiru told the press after putting pen to the transfer paper, Alimi expressed delight at the move while reiterating that he is in for business to help his side with as many goals as possible to aid their push for the title.

Stade Tunisien are currently third in Tunisian League table with 24 points in a 16 club league and he’s expected to help the Club compete for the title and qualifications for CAF competition next season.
