Barcelona beat Paris Saint-Germain and other top European sides to signed English striker Louie Barry from West Brom on a three contract.

The 16-year-old talented prospect had been with the Baggies since he was six and turned down the offer of a professional contract with the Championship club to continue his football education with the La Liga Champions.

Barcelona confirmed the signing on their official website on Birmingham born striker who has dual English and Northern Irish nationality and is considered one of the best young players in English football as he was unveiled by the Catalan outfit.

Barry switched allegiance to England in 2019, making his debut against Brazil in February, going on to score seven goals in nine appearances.

The teenager won the Golden Boot with three goals as he helped England Under-16s win Val-de-Marne, a UEFA tournament, last year.

Barry follows Frenkie de Jong to Camp Nou after the Netherlands international was unveiled in Catalunya following his January transfer from Ajax.
