Super Eagles By: Ikponmwosa Umweni | 15/11/2019

Super Eagles will depart for Uyo aboard a chartered flight for Lesotho for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday evening.

Samuel Kalu scores a superb solo effort goal as Nigeria come from behind to beat Benin Republic 2-1 in their Group L opener at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium but the three-time Africa Champions were expected to depart for Maseru, the capital of Lesotho on Friday.

However, according to a report, due to logistics and Maseru just six hours away, the Super Eagles will not leave their Uyo camp until Saturday for Moshoeshoe 1 International Airport, Maseru as the team is expected to have a feel of the Setsoto Stadium on Saturday before the encounter.

Lesotho are levelled with Serria Leone in second place after they both played out a 1-1 draw in the other Group L encounter but Super Eagles will hope to make it six points from two games when they take on the Crocodiles on Sunday.

The game will be played on astroturf with kickoff time set at 5 pm local time.
