Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis has been nominated for the UEFA Champions League Player of the Match-day two alongside Luis Suarez, Serge Gnabry and Achraf Hakimi for the honour.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international scored twice from his three shots on target to give Club Brugge a first-half lead before Sergio Ramos and Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro clawed Real Madrid way back to draw 2-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Dennis is in line to become the first Nigeria player to win the Champions League Player of the Week this season with another African Hakimi in contention after fining back of the net twice that helped his side claim all three points against Slavia Praha and had a 74% passing accuracy in the encounter.

Bayern Munich Serge Gnabry scored four goals against Tottenham Hotspur and Moroccan international, while Suarez notched a brace for Barcelona 2-1 comeback win over Inter Milan but the winner is to be announced this weekend.
