SOU 1-4 CHELSEA: The Blues record four wins in a row

Chelsea 4-1 win over Southampton marks their fourth win in a row, as they march on in the race to finish in the top four in the Premier League.

Southampton fired a shot in the early minute of the match but after then Chelsea had control of the game with Tammy Abraham breaking the lock in the 16th minute from a brilliant assist from Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Chelsea got the second via Mason Mount after the midfielder received a pass from Willian to slot the ball into the net to make it two for Chelsea.

Chelsea had much control of the game and they could have made it three but Mount was unable to convert from a close range.

Danny Ings reduced the margin in the 30th after the ball beat the defence to fall into the path of the striker.

Christain Pulisic and Michy Bathuayi came from the bench and combined well to get the fourth goal for the Chelsea

Ngolo Kante added the third goal for Chelsea from a powerful shot from outside the box to make it 3-1.

Chelsea had some decent chances to score goals but the Southampton defence looked a bid solid than what it was in the first half.
