The 33-year-old was a subject of interest for Manchester United in the last summer but the deal failed due to differences in terms with the Old Trafford directors.
The report in Tuttosport says Mandzukic's camp has an agreement in place with United, who he will join on January 1.
The Croatian forward was dropped from Juventus 25-man Champions League squad and that could propel a move away from the Serie A giants.
