Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari has made a blunt comment about the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo from the Los Blancos team, ahead of the clash against AS Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday evening at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Real Madrid is far from their best and it seems the services of the Portuguese attacker is missed within the team but Solari who replaced Julen Lopetegui last month has a different opinion about the Juventus striker.

With the exit of Ronaldo Real Madrid has lacked the cutting edge in the attack and struggle in most of the match to score goals despite having a lot of possession in the opponent’s half a style of football that was obvious under Lopetegui.

Under Solari the approach is a bit different as they attack from the wings and in his view  "Cristiano is a champion, he's part of our history, he's ours, we do not miss him because he's a player of ours will always be part of our history even if now it plays for Juventus .” He told Sky Sport.

He also spoke about the clash against AS Roma, “In football, the problems are never solved.

The next game is another problem and so until the end of the season. Our name is Real Madrid and we must always win every match, every year, all the championships. We must live up to our history and our name. This is the main challenge. "
