"Real Madrid announces that the date proposed by both clubs is December 18," Los Blancos' statement read.
"The club will propose the date of December 18," Barcelona stated, too.
Thus, the agreement between Barcelona and Real Madrid that the Competition Committee asked for already exists.
Before 10:00 am CEST on Monday, the clubs must communicate their decision to the Competition Committee, an outcome that is likely to satisfy the RFEF but frustrate LaLiga, who wanted the Clasico to be played on a weekend rather than a weekday.
